I can’t praise this little shop enough. I have used it on both happy and sad occasions and have never been disappointed. The flowers are so fresh and last longer than I expected and the ladies in the shop are really kind and helpful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and would recommend them to everyone. Thank you Crimson Rose.

I ordered a bouquet this morning and it was delivered before lunchtime. I discussed the type flowers with the friendly and knowledgeable Maria who selected the blooms. I understand that Angie did the artistic side to make sure they looked superb. I found Crimson Rose on line and I can certainly recommend them.

Absolutely love this little florist! We don’t live in the UK so when we need to send flowers for anything- these are our go-to florist. We really appreciate the extra mile they went to (literally delivering outside their delivery zone!) for my mum in law’s birthday. The joy in her voice when she told us she had received the bouquet was beautiful- thank you so much! You are an amazing local business and we are proud to support you.

Birthday…Brilliant service yesterday from Crimson Rose florists. Had a memory lapse of the best friends birthday!! Phoned Crimson Rose, flowers delivered, after 3 attempts and a phone call in between as recipient not home and they didn’t want to leave outside. An arrangement was made for a safe place.Thank you. Excellent service.

Lewisham Florist

Lewisham used to be a small village until the passenger railways were developed in the 19th century. The town is part of the historic county of Kent and is the principal area of the London Borough of Lewisham. It is also one of the 35 major centres in Greater London.

Daniel Lysons, an antiquarian and topographer, recorded Lewisham as ‘Levesham.’ The word means the ‘the house among the meadows’ as læs, læse, or læsew in Saxon means ‘a meadow’ and ham translates to ‘a dwelling.’ A Latin legal record from 1440 also mentions a place in Kent as Levesham.

Today, the town has a population of 22,497 of which 11,202 are males and 11,295 are females.

Lewisham has two colleges and a secondary school. The Christ the King Sixth Form College stands over three sites in South London. The college was founded in 1992 by the Catholic Church. This free-standing institution welcomes students from all religions and backgrounds.

The Lewisham Southwark College was established in 1990 on the south-east London. It was known as South East London College of Technology (SELTEC) since the early 1970s. The two separate institutions, Lewisham College and Southwark College merged in 2012.

Sedgehill School is the secondary school and sixth form. It opened in 1957 for the new comprehensive education strategy intended to replace gramma, central, and secondary modern schools.

Lewisham has a local football club, Lewisham Youth FC, which was established in 1994. This club is an FA Chartered Standard Development Club who plays at Warren Avenue Playing Fields.

This town has two parks, a garden and several flower shops including a local online flower shop. Hilly Fields is a large park located between Brockley and Ladywell. The park has a stone circle and is known to be one of the steepest in the country. Still, it has the best view of London.

Meanwhile, Lewisham Park is a small patch of green in town that serves as a retreat from the busy high street. It features mature trees which are the habitat of birds and insects. The park was originally built as a town garden that provides shady spots and a variety of flowers for the local people. The area is family-friendly as it has a small children’s playground.

At Lewisham High Street, you will find Lewisham Memorial Gardens . The garden is made for the deceased individuals from both World War I and II.

As for sources of flowers, you can get flowers from many different florists which are well-known all-over town.
